Weblog Tools Collection has a great write-up showing what we can expect when WordPress 2.7 is released (hopefully in November).
Some of the noteworthy features:
- A rewritten back end interface
- A redesigned “write” panel.
- “Sticky” posts that will stay at the top of your blog until you un-stick them.
- Browse and install plug-ins from the back end.
- Many more settings for images (default alignment, default sizes, etc)
It’s shaping up to be a pretty nice release. We’ll keep you posted on the expected release date.
