Just because an employee of a store doesn't know about a particular type of cell phone that the company doesn't carry, and doesn't carry any accessories for, is not a direct reflection of the company. I would challenge you to enter a Wal-Mart, where they do carry the iPhone, and see if every employee there knows about your phone...I would guess the answer would be no.
