Now running WordPress 2.8 beta 1

Wordpress LogoThe latest beta version of WordPress has just been released, so we figured we’d give a shot in a live environment.  No major changes, but a whole bunch of small ones.  You can check out the full list here.

The upgrade went very quickly and very smoothly, and things seem to be running well.

    Was considering doing this myself, I haven’t come across any problems on your site so far :)

    I’ve been testing it also – WordPress 2.8 Beta 2 now. I also use WordPress 2.7.1 on another site. Must say I’m impressed with it compared to 2.7.1.

    I just hope they make some effort to improve the duplicate content site of things though.
