A Brighter Circle

For nearly 13 years, we’ve hosted a monthly(ish) Meetup here in Marietta which we call “A Brighter Web”, and it’s been great! We have a handful of events scheduled for the rest of the this year, and we’re already starting to set up our 2026 events.

We’ve also hosted the “Brighter Web” podcast for a few years now, we host a “Brighter Book Club” every month, and we’re hosting our first “Brighter Web Conference” this fall. There’s a lot going on!

The problem is that most of that stuff has been scattered. We have some events on Meetup, some on EventBrite, the podcast is over on Podbean, most of the book club attendees just come directly from a calendar invite, and then the details on past books are tucked away in Google Drive somewhere. Plus, despite all of that, there’s really no place to chat with one another in a single location (Meetup comments aren’t super helpful).

Enter Circle

So, over the past few weeks we’ve been building out a presence using the “Circle” app and it’s ready to go! You can find it over at abrighterweb.com. We’re fairly new to it, but it seems to solve many of our problems.

There’s a lot to like. Instead of having to send people various places to find RSVP information and things like that, it’s all in one spot.

Check it out and let me know what you think!
