The right time is right now

You likely have plans to start doing something soon.

Perhaps it’s eating better, exercising, blogging more often, starting a new side hustle — it could be any number of things. You could wait “until I’m less busy”, or wait for a certain time (Jan 1 is very popular for that), but those are both likely to be bad ideas.

The time to start is today.

In his book “Excellent Advice for Living“, Kevin Kelly simply says it like this:

About 99% of the time the right time is right now.

Kevin even leaves that 1% caveat because sometimes the right time isn’t right now — but it probably is!
