There’s no time like “no time”

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Some of the best thinkers of our time, including folks like Steve Jobs and Albert Einstein, specifically added “no time” into their schedule so they could let their mind wander.

From this article by Alto Nivel:

Albert Einstein accepted that many times the most valuable ideas occurred to him while doing nothing and enjoying his own “no time.” Steve Jobs was also a “famous bum.”

It’s not unlike the concept of a clarity break, which I’ve written about on here a few times before.

As Nivel mentions at the end of his article, though, coming up with great ideas is of little value without execution. When it came to getting things done, Jobs and Einstein both did an excellent job of bringing their ideas to life. Having a great idea is just step one.

Take some time for yourself, capture what you learn, and then make it happen.
