Here’s a bit about what I wrote, read and learned over the past week. I hope you find it helpful!
Blog posts from the past week
- How to quickly take action from your Analytics. Giant data reports might look impressive, but reports that get to the point are a lot more effective. We’ve worked hard to make our reports valuable for our clients, and we’ve recently added a new feature that takes things a step further.
- How to Remember All 1,189 Chapters of the Bible. A while back I saw a video with memory expert Ron White where he interviewed Larry Dinkins about something Larry had done; Larry memorized the core concept of every single chapter in the Bible. It was a fascinating video and I encourage you to check it out.
- What happens when someone replies to your newsletter? What happens when someone clicks “reply” on your email newsletter?
- Use AI to understand your website analytics. A few days ago I showed you how you can click a simple button to get things taken care of that have surfaced in your Analytics reports, but what if the report is missing something that you need?
- My four goals with AI. As AI continues to develop, I find myself pushing in four very specific directions.
- The most useful business photo might be the entrance. Years ago, I had a doctor’s appointment to go to and I had no idea where their office was located. However, when I pulled up their website they had a photo of their main sign on it and I recognized it immediately! It was super helpful.
Books that I’m reading
I read for a total of 7:42 last week with the following:
- Finished “Mistborn: The Well of Ascension“
- Finished “Careless People“
- Continued “How to Talk to Anyone“
- Continued “The Greater Game“
- Started “The American Way of Killing“
- Started “The Algebra of Happiness“
Tech Rec
Stealing the idea from my friends at the Tech Talk Y’all podcast, I’ll drop in some tech recommendation every week as well.
- Iron Clash: I was a huge fan of “Warcraft II” back in the day. It was a real-time strategy game where you’d mine gold, chop wood, build some troops, and attack. It was simple, but fun. Since you can’t really find it anymore, I decided to make my own! If you enjoyed Warcraft back in the day, check out Iron Clash for a bit of nostalgia.
I hope you found some value in this. If you ever have questions, ideas, or disagreements regarding anything I write, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
