The quiet work that makes everything else work

There are flashy and important things to be done at most businesses, but at the end of the day it’s the quiet work that makes all the difference.

It’s Dan Cathy picking up napkins in the parking lot of Chick-Fil-A restaurants (while he was president of the entire company).

It means hopping on a truck to make sure the trash gets picked up even when some staff aren’t able to come in.

Or in our case, it means doing the quiet work of managing websites to keep them secure and smooth. We currently manage 186 websites, who see a total of roughly 2 million cyber attacks every week, and they are almost never hacked, even in very small ways. It can happen at times, but we’re prepared for that too (with lots of monitoring and many backups on hand).

Big things like Super Bowl ads are super exciting, but keeping things clean, updated, and running smoothly will take far less cost and effort and will propel you past almost all of your competitors.
