In an effort to help me keep up with everything I post each week, here is my latest “Sunday Summary” of my posts from the week.
Mon, September 11: There is no average person
Building an ideal persona for your audience is key, but it’s also important to know that you’ll never find that perfect person.
Tue, September 12: Does it work on paper?
When planning ahead, if you can’t make the schedule work out on paper beforehand, there is no way it’s going to work smoothly in real life.
Wed, September 13: Visceral responses matter
I like to think that the quality of a product is what matters most, but the truth is that visceral responses play a huge part in the success or failure of anything you produce.
Thu, September 14: Intentional imbalance
Work/life balance is often impossible to achieve, but if you go with the flow you can adjust the imbalance to work for you.
Fri, September 15: Never quit?
Perseverance is a wonderful trait, but pushing through every situation isn’t wise. Knowing when to quit is a powerful tool.
Sat, September 16: Is it clever or self-indulgent?
Designing something to be clever simply for the sake of being clever isn’t a good way to accomplish much. Be clever when needed, but always keep the end goal in mind.
I hope you found some value in this. If you ever have questions, ideas, or disagreements regarding anything I write, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
